In our experience, we find that size does not necessarily dictate playfulness, and it is brilliant for dogs to socialise with a wide range of other pups. However, we understand that not every dog wants to play 24/7, so we generally split into two groups of very active pups, and more chilled ones!
We welcome pups of all shapes and sizes at Fairfield Doggy Daycare. Puppies are welcome as long as they have received their puppy vaccinations.
We are open Tuesday to Thursday from 6am to 6pm.
We require all parents to make a reservation for their pup through our booking platform, Revelation Pets, which you can find by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button on our website. The booking site allows you to select your personalised daycare dates, as well as times for pick up and drop off. For last-minute bookings, please text Matisse on 0428007211.
In the event of an emergency, sickness or injury, we will endeavour to inform owners via phone call and text as soon as possible with details, as well as follow all protocols required. If a dog requires emergency medical treatment and the owner is not available, they will be taken by one of our staff to Animal Emergency Centre in Woolloongabba, located 10 minutes from Fairfield Doggy Daycare. Please note that FDD has no liability for unavoidable injuries and illnesses that occur whilst your dog is at daycare, and we highly recommend that all owners have pet insurance.
We run a wide range of enrichment activities throughout the day to ensure all of our daycare dogs are engaged and having lots of fun. Some of these include obedience training, specially prepared treat plates, ball and water play.
We understand that every dog has their own personality, and some may need extra time to feel comfortable in a daycare setting. Our team takes a gentle and patient approach, offering gradual introductions to new friends and monitoring play to ensure all pups feel safe. If a dog shows signs of nervousness or behavioural concerns, we will work with owners to create a tailored plan that best supports their needs.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend daycare. This includes Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Bordetella and Parainfluenza (Kennel Cough). These vaccines are typically included in the puppy and yearly vaccination; however we recommend speaking to your vet if you have any concerns. Evidence of vaccination must be uploaded to Revelation Pets before your pup can attend.
Our casual rate is $55/day, and all payments are processed through our booking platform. We also offer a $10 discount for second/third dogs. There is also the option of purchasing a 10-pack for our regular pups, which is available for $500.
Any special needs and medical information should be recorded on your pup’s profile in the booking platform. We will do our very best to accommodate to all needs, including providing daily medication if required. We recommend having a chat to your vet prior to bringing your dog to daycare, to ensure it is the right fit.
All our rates are offered on a daily basis.
After a big morning of play, the dogs usually down in the afternoon for nap time. However, if you have a dog that gets easily overstimulated, we also have a quiet room full of cosy beds and blankets for some dedicated shut eye!
Absolutely! We are happy to do individual lunch time feeds for a small $5 fee. When booking, you will be able to select this as an add on. Please bring all food in labelled containers.
We currently have a maximum capacity of 20 dogs per day, as we want to guarantee that each pup is provided with the personalised care.
We want to make sure that all pawrents are kept up to date with all the daycare fun, and we provide frequent photo and video updates on our Instagram stories (@fairfield_doggydaycare).
To set your pup up for success, we recommend organising a trial meet and greet to familiarise them with the daycare environment. A morning walk before drop-off can help burn off excess energy and ease any initial excitement. Be sure to pack any necessary items, and a favourite comfort item if your dog is prone to anxiety. Most importantly, stay positive—dogs pick up on emotions, and a confident, calm farewell can make all the difference in helping them settle in!
